OpenScholar Hands-on Training

9:30am-11:00am

Location: CGIS Knafel, (K018 Training Lab). 1737 Cambridge Street, Cambridge MA 02138 map

Learn how to build a web site for a faculty or a research project using Harvard's OpenScholar (http://scholar.harvard.edu/ or http://projects.iq.harvard.edu). After this session, you will be ready to start creating a professional web site with publications, presentations, bio/cv, classes, and more. And each site can be customized with a different look and feel and flexible layout.

You don't need to bring anything for the class. We'll provide each one of you a computer and the content to build an example web site.

The class will take place in the K-018 training lab, which is on the concourse level of the CGIS Knafel Building (1737 Cambridge St.).  To get to the concourse level from the main lobby, you can either go down the main lobby stairs or take the elevator down one level.  Upon exiting the elevator, go down the hall to the right and K-018 will be on your left.

Limited seats (12 per class). Register before it's too late.
